What is Circle K International?
Circle K is the largest collegiate service organization in the world with more than 12,600 members in 17 nations. While Circle K primarily deals with service, leadership and fellowship are also mixed in. Each Circle K is funded by a local Kiwanis Club in their area. Circle K is the perfect college organization to help build responsibility, friendships, and leadership qualities in college students regardless of their global location. Members of Circle K partake in many project within their local community, as well as helping fund and participate in events for larger projects and organizations such as Riley Children's Hospital and Unicef.
Each club at the individual universities help plan and implement projects in their communities that meet their area's specific needs. In addition, each university's club works together with other universities within the same geographic area to do larger scale projects.
CKI blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet other college students around the world. Projects such as the Eliminate Project, an effort that CKI and Kiwanis International have teamed up with UNICEF on that aims to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus around the globe, bring CKI members together to make a difference in the world.
Our Tenets: Service. Leadership. Fellowship. Circle K International is more than a service organization. It's more than leadership development. It's more than a social club. It's all three of these aspects combined. While serving your community, your district, your world, you become closer to those who serve, lead and bond with you. You build strong ties between members of not only Circle K, but of the entire K-Family.
Our Pledge
I pledge to uphold the objects of Circle K International,
to foster compassion and good will toward others through service and leadership,
to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people,
and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind's potential!
